An Evening to Honor Sentebale

In preparation for the weekend of sport with the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic on Sunday, June 27th, The St. Regis New York hosted a special evening benefiting Sentable. The charity’s founding patron HRH Prince Henry of Wales attended an “Evening to Honor Sentebale” hosted by Paul James, Global Brand Leader for St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, Paul Nash, General Manager at The St. Regis New York and Nacho Figueras, renowned polo player, St. Regis Connoisseur and friend of Sentebale, on Friday June 25th.

The event celebrated the charity’s connection with New York City at one of its most iconic locations, amidst Prince Harry’s much anticipated second visit to the city and his second year playing in the match alongside Figueras. Noted chef de cuisine Didier Elena, of Adour Alain Ducasse at The St. Regis New York, created an exquisite menu degustation in honor of the occasion. The charity, started by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in 2006, was started in order to better the lives of orphans and susceptible children of Lesotho which has the third highest rate of HIV/AIDS in the world.
